• Your encrypted files are distributed and stored across undisclosed cloud storage platforms, including Google, Microsoft, and Amazon. Each video is fragmented into smaller packets and dispersed across multiple clouds, minimizing the risk of theft or data breaches.

Encryption Protocols:

• Encryption begins immediately upon video upload, ensuring that your content remains secure throughout the storage process. Once encrypted, no human can view the content until its intended delivery, guaranteeing complete confidentiality.

Selecting Delivery Triggers:

• During consignment creation, senders have the option to choose their preferred delivery triggers. These triggers include Upon Death, In Coma, Severe Disability, Loss in Ability to Communicate, or a combination of these conditions, depending on the sender’s preferences.

Receiver Delivery Requests:

• Receivers also have the ability to initiate a delivery request from the Rednote User Portal. This action triggers the delivery investigation process to ensure timely delivery based on the sender’s specified conditions.

Contacting the Sender:

• Upon receiving a delivery request, Rednote first attempts to contact the sender (customer) to verify the trigger condition. If contact is established with the sender, it indicates that the delivery trigger has not been achieved, potentially due to a mistake or false trigger.

Delivery Verification Process:

• In cases where Rednote is unable to reach the sender, the Delivery Verification process is initiated. This process involves verifying the trigger condition together with the Delivery Verification through additional measures to ensure accurate and timely delivery to the intended recipient.

Types of Verification:

• Rednote offers two types of verification processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of consignments.
• The consignment sender decides the type of verification during consignment creation. 

Standard Verification:

• For standard verification,  if Rednote fails to contact the sender after a specified number of days, consignments will continue to be delivered. This ensures that consignments are not delayed unnecessarily and are delivered within a reasonable timeframe.

Extended Verification:

• Should sender decides for consignments requiring extended verification, Rednote implements a process where delivery is contingent upon confirmation from a predetermined party. Before delivery, Rednote verifies the trigger condition with this designated party to ensure accurate delivery according to the sender’s specifications.

Verification Failure Fallback:

• In cases where Rednote cannot reach the verification party for delivery verification, the sender can specify fallback actions. This is particularly important if the verification party, such as a spouse, is unavailable, possibly due to unforeseen circumstances like a simultaneous demise. If verification failure persists after multiple attempts, the sender can choose:
  1. Continue Delivery: Proceed with delivery despite the verification failure.
  2. Delete Consignment and Delivery: Opt to delete both the consignment and the delivery request.

Undelivered or Unredeemed Consignments:

• Consignments that remain unclaimed or unredeemed will be automatically deleted when the  user account is terminated. This ensures efficient management of stored data and prevents unnecessary accumulation of inactive consignments over an extended period.

Responsibility for Video Quality:

• Rednote emphasizes that it is the sender’s responsibility to ensure the completeness and compatibility of uploaded videos. Rednote will not be held responsible for cases where videos are incomplete, in incompatible formats, inaudible, or cannot be played. Senders are advised to thoroughly check their videos before uploading to ensure a seamless consignment experience.

To halt the delivery of an active consignment, follow these simple steps:

Access Rednote User Portal:

Log in to Rednote User Portal and navigate to the “Outbox” section.

Locate Active Consignment:

Identify the consignment that you wish to cancel from the list of active consignments displayed in the Outbox section.

Cancel Consignment:

Select the active consignment you want to cancel and follow the prompts to initiate the cancellation process.

Confirmation:

Confirm the cancellation request to stop the delivery of the consignment.

Verification:

Verify the cancellation to ensure that the consignment is successfully removed from the delivery queue.

Download Feature:

• After a consignment has been successfully delivered, the intended receiver can access the video in the “Delivered Videos” section. Additionally, receivers have the option to download the video for offline viewing or safekeeping.

30-Day Storage Period:

• Upon delivery, the consignment will be stored in the “Delivered Videos” section for a standard period of 30 days. After this timeframe, the video will be automatically deleted from the receiver’s account to maintain system efficiency and storage management.

Account Termination Policy:

• Accounts without any active consignments and with no activity for 24 consecutive months will be subject to termination. Users will receive advance notification before account deletion occurs to allow for any necessary actions.
